Stone Hearths

A Hearth  is the focal point of your room. We create bespoke natural slate  hearths which will last a generation.

At The Stone Workshop, the   manufacturing of  hearths is an  integral part of our business, we produce many shapes from T shape, rectangular, circular, quadrant  and pentagon and everything in beween,  all  bespoke dimensions cut  to suit individual requirements and manufactured here at the Stone Workshop. We use a graphite slate 30mm thickness with a cleft /riven face perfect for the use of stoves and gas fires, smooth  honed hearths  are also available yet we prefer the durability of the cleft finish being a bit more durable, each individual piece differs slightly from the next in pattern and shade, examples of many can be seen on our Facebook page. We supply both trade and retail and will be happy to provide a quote, carriage is also available to all  parts around the country.
